When I started creating the
site it was in the form of a Word document with tables that had links to sites
to go to for homeschool related information, resources and curriculum. Then it got to be bigger and bigger, I realized that there must be others out
there that could find great use of such a database. So that is how the site gave birth.
The site contains no affiliate links. However this blog may contain links in the
future but a limited amount since my sole purpose is to find resources that are
of quality and are free or low cost. As a mother of six I can’t afford to pay thousands of
dollars on curriculum materials. With my
educational background in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education I
can easily sift through the fluff to get to the core essentials that should be taught. I feel that unless your child has an extreme
issue in a subject that there is no need for fancy specialized curriculum,
unless you can afford it. With a little planning and searching you can homeschool your children with very little financial
investment with time a patience.
